I am a Suffolk-based textile artist working from my studio at home

​

I make beautiful scarves in silk and fine cotton

My cushions upcycle vintage French sheets

I create wall art using fabrics I have printed myself embellished with stitch, collage and a variety of textile elements

​

I like to consider the environment in my creative process and botanical-printing

is as environmentally neutral as it is possible to be using leaves, flowers, steam and very little else

Occasionally I use a natural dye from an ethical supplier

​

Proche is French for 'close' or 'nearby' and I gather my leaves and flowers

from as close to home as possible. The plants I use grow in my garden, in

the streets and parks nearby or the gardens of friends and family

​

Each item is as unique as the leaves and flowers that create the print

​
